John 4:14 - The Word

...but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst.
Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.
John 4:14

I can't get over the Word
in so many ways
God said Let there be light and there was.
With a word He created
And Jesus was the Word with Him in the beginning
And we read the Word to know him
I can't get over the Word
Water
In so many ways....

Heavenly Father, on this still Sunday morning, thank you for your Word - in so many ways...

    1. Thanks! I wish I could take credit for the word cloud, but it's through a program called Wordle and I just changed colors and orientation until it looked good to me... Yes, it's one of my favorite verses! Have a great rest of your weekend!

  4. YES. I DO know I must LIVE in HIS WATER. HIS!!! Not relying on everyone else, or myself. Just relying on HIM! Thank you.

  5. Hi Janet! I have never even heard of a 'word cloud' before, so this is a fun find! You are so creative.

I love the water image, and the word images you bring up too. Wonder and awe is all we can offer at times of revelation, right? Speechless. The love and power of God in his Son is just overpowering.

    Happy Monday!

    1. Hi Ceil - You should play around with the website for the 'word cloud'. It's called Wordle: http://www.wordle.net/create You just copy and paste your text and then play with the colors, layout, font, etc. You have some control - not all - so it ends up being a little random. I guess that's the God-part, right? Thanks for visiting! Janet

  6. Oh I so agree - the Word changes in our hearts, changes our hearts and makes us yearn to learn more. Thank you for sharing at Sunday Stillness.

    1. Janis, it was fun to do - I'll probably stick with pictures, though (unless I can figure out how to combine them both...) But, yes, it's the Word I'm continually fascinated with/by - apparently I am yearning... Thanks for hosting Sunday Stillness! Janet

    1. Beth - Thanks! I've been what in this house we call slammed-busy and haven't been able to keep up with the blog for a couple of weeks. I'm having withdrawal pains, so hope to get back at least a couple of posts a week soon. I hope you are doing well. You made my day by stopping by! Have a great weekend. Janet

I know we probably haven't met in person, but I believe that the sharing of our ideas and thoughts, sometimes our hearts and souls, makes us more than strangers. I would like to say friends. Thank you for taking the time to contribute to my little space - I appreciate you.
