Isaiah 2:5

Happenstance.  The flower was facing the wrong direction, but I liked the light.  Hmmm....  Maybe it wasn't facing the wrong direction after all.  Thinking about walking in His Light today - and having fun with font colors in the verse - asking His Light into my life.  Have a joy-filled Saturday.  Janet

  1. Dear Janet
This picture reminds me of a field of sunflowers and how the flowers turn their heads all through the day as the sun moves. It seems as if they have more wisdom as most people.

    1. As I looked through my photos, I thought the same thing - except not a field, just a single flower turning toward the sunlight. Like me, turning toward the God-light. They certainly set an example, don't they? Janet

  2. Hi Janet! Isn't a great thing to 'have fun' with the word of God? It's not all serious all the time! I will be praying that we both walk in his light today, and be that light to at least one other person.

    Happy Weekend, my friend!

    1. Hi Ceil, It IS fun to see multiple meanings in God's word. On one hand, it makes me smile - on the other, it makes me gasp. What a beautiful prayer - thank you. Janet

    1. Hi Caryjo - What a great image "...see how the Lord is poured into hearts." I think I'm going to have to start looking over my 'water' pictures for a future post. He has definitely poured 'encourager' into your heart - Thank you, friend. Blessings! Janet

  4. Beautiful photo. This brought to mind that our direction may not make sense to others but we know that we are following Him. Great message in that little flower. Visiting from Sunday Stillness this morning.
    Have a blessed Sunday!

    1. Hi Beth - Thank you! This is one of my favorites. Speaking of...I love Psalm 91, I used to change the pronouns and make it a prayer for Kevin's deployment - thank you for sharing such a meaningful verse! In joy!

  6. Love the photo - the flower even seems bent as it turns toward the sunlight. He is our Light.

I know we probably haven't met in person, but I believe that the sharing of our ideas and thoughts, sometimes our hearts and souls, makes us more than strangers. I would like to say friends. Thank you for taking the time to contribute to my little space - I appreciate you.
